Support Engineer (DevEx & Tooling)

About the role

Accenture is looking for a Support Engineer focused on developer experience and tooling. You will work closely with the AppAdmin team to manage Atlassian Cloud, GitHub, and Slack configurations, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement for developers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update documentation on Confluence and internal portals.
• Respond to support tickets in Jira and Slack, configuring Jira Cloud projects, workflows, screens, and schemes.
• Set up project roles, permissions, and user access, including sensitive data handling.
• Create and manage Jira Cloud automation rules and support Service Management pilots.
• Collaborate with Atlassian Fast Shift team on onboarding and app licensing.
• Provide onboarding/offboarding assistance and request security/legal clearances for integrations.
• Identify gaps in admin processes, maintain JSON repositories, and generate performance metrics.
• Handle issue migrations, configure email notifications, and troubleshoot app or on‑premise bugs.
• Monitor system performance, audit user activity, and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience administering Atlassian Cloud or GitHub in a mid‑to‑large engineering organization.
• Strong understanding of access control, audit logging, and compliance.
• Detail‑oriented with a passion for clean, scalable configurations and documentation.
• Customer‑friendly attitude and ability to train users.
• Collaborative mindset and proactive approach.
