UX Designer – Trade Surveillance Platform

About the role

Nasdaq is seeking a UX Designer to join its Trade Surveillance team in Vilnius. Reporting to the Director of Product Delivery, you will lead design work within a cross‑functional scrum team to reimagine the user interface of a leading market surveillance platform. This role is ideal for a self‑starter who enjoys crafting intuitive experiences in a fast‑paced, agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design user‑centric experiences that balance user needs with business and technical requirements.
• Partner closely with the Product Delivery Lead and development team to translate insights into polished, functional designs.
• Lead end‑to‑end product design activities, from scoping and wireframes to prototypes and final delivery.
• Host client feedback and user‑testing sessions to validate design proposals.
• Contribute to the evolution of Nasdaq’s design system and help define the UX strategy for the platform.

Required profile

• A degree in Interaction Design or equivalent practical experience in UX/UI design.
• Proven experience designing websites or digital products with a strong portfolio.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within cross‑functional, agile teams.
• Experience in financial services or designing for external enterprise customers is a plus.
• Understanding of web technologies and what is technically achievable in product development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma or a comparable design tool.
