Head of Catering

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and strategic Head of Catering to oversee, manage, and grow our catering operations. This senior position is responsible for operational excellence, high culinary and service standards, strong client partnerships, and sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate catering operations, ensuring consistent high‑quality food services and full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and health standards.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client service agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and achievement of performance targets (KPIs).
• Manage department budgets, P&L, and cost controls (food cost, labor, waste optimization) while maintaining financial compliance and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee performance and succession planning for Kitchen Managers and operational teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular performance reviews and proactive resolution of client needs.
• Partner with the commercial team during bids and tenders, and successfully lead the operational launch of new catering sites and services.
• Drive process optimisation, digitalisation, and effective use of operational systems such as Syrve and Coupa.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in catering, hospitality, contract food service, or multi‑site operations management.
• Strong operational background with in‑depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
• Solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L statements, food costs, and overall operational efficiency.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, client relationship, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on team development.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken).
