Maintenance Operations Officer

About the role

We are looking for an organised, detail‑oriented Maintenance Operations Officer to join our growing team in Vilnius. This junior‑level position is an excellent entry point for a career in operations, facilities management or project coordination, where clear communication and task completion are key.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate in English with clients, restaurant teams and UK‑based contractors by email and telephone.
• Receive maintenance requests, gather required information and assign work to suitable service providers.
• Manage several priorities, monitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Chase delayed responses, provide clear updates and escalate issues when required.
• Check that completed work is supported by clear reports, photographs, costs and other required information.
• Assist with reviewing contractor quotations and checking that proposed work and costs are reasonable.
• Keep information accurate and up to date in Mainlix, Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other systems used by the team.
• Respond calmly to urgent or unexpected situations and help move each issue towards a practical solution.
• Work closely with colleagues both in the office and remotely.

Required profile

• Very good written and spoken English.
• Clear, polite and professional communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Ability to manage several tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Calm and practical approach to urgent or changing situations.
• Initiative and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and act on feedback.
• Confidence using computers and standard workplace software.
• Previous experience in administration, customer service, logistics or operations coordination is an advantage.
