Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead

About the role

Join the HomeToGo technology team in Lithuania as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead, working on a marketplace with millions of vacation rental listings. You will lead a Consumer Product team, drive technical strategy and help shape the product roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance environment.
• Drive product delivery improvements and define technical strategies to enhance quality, scalability and reliability.
• Partner with Product to shape the roadmap and align engineering decisions with user needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into timely feature releases.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the Marketplace remains performant at scale.
• Champion the adoption of AI‑assisted development tools and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience leading high‑performing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language (PHP or JavaScript/TypeScript) and related frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with relational databases such as MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
• Fluency in English.
