Business Development Lead (Baltics) – AI Video Intelligence

About the role

A European AI company that builds video intelligence solutions (automatically detecting situations of interest in video streams, deployed in public and private sectors, civilian and defence, and GDPR-compliant) is looking for a Business Development Lead based in Vilnius, Tallinn or Riga, on a hybrid basis. The role is about opening a new market: you must already be embedded in the Baltic market and able to reach the right entities within one or two calls, rather than spending months on cold prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and close business development opportunities with public sector bodies and large private operators across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
• Build and activate a trusted network of decision-makers, including municipalities, government and defence-adjacent entities, and transport, logistics and security operators.
• Move quickly from first contact to signed agreement, using the relationships you already have.
• Act as the primary local point of contact, coordinating with leadership on deal strategy and occasionally visiting in person.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales track record in the Baltic states, with a network you can activate immediately.
• Comfortable covering all three Baltic markets (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).
• Fluent English; strong, current knowledge of the Baltic market is more important than any single local language (Lithuanian is a plus).
• Based in Vilnius, Tallinn or Riga preferred; Helsinki or Copenhagen also considered.
• Self-starting, fast-moving, and comfortable selling to security, defence or public-sector buyers.
