Cards Unit Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

As the Cards Unit Manager for Retail Banking, you will lead a Pan‑Baltic team responsible for the vision, strategy and performance of Luminor's card products, services and systems. You will shape product development, ensure regulatory compliance and drive sustainable growth across the Baltic region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the unit’s vision, roadmap, priorities and overall performance.
• Manage the area’s budget, resource allocation and financial targets.
• Ensure data product ownership in line with data‑management and reporting requirements.
• Drive product and service development based on customer needs, market trends and digital opportunities.
• Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, operational resilience and audit readiness.
• Lead, coach and develop the Cards Unit team, fostering a high‑performing culture.
• Represent the cards area in senior‑management, partner, regulator and governmental discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience with strong leadership and performance‑management skills.
• Background in product ownership, product development or process management, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong business judgment, budget and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent decision‑making, planning and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Higher education and fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Professional working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Kanban methodologies (certification a plus).
