Engineering Manager – SYNCHRO Team

About the role

Bentley Systems is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the SYNCHRO team in Vilnius. You will guide a cross‑functional group of engineers building the 4D construction scheduling platform that connects design intent to field reality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers across desktop, web and Android surfaces.
• Partner with Product Management to define and deliver a quarterly roadmap aligned with Bentley’s Model Centric Construction strategy.
• Drive architectural decisions, ensure high code quality, and act as the primary engineering voice in technical reviews and user escalations.
• Champion AI‑assisted development practices, including GitHub Copilot and Azure AI Studio.
• Collaborate with platform teams on iTwin integration, IFC/4D data exchange, and the broader Bentley geospatial ecosystem.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team‑lead role.
• Proven ability to build and retain high‑performing, distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate business goals into engineering execution.
