Full Stack Developer (PHP/Symfony & React)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing IT team. You will work on both backend and frontend technologies, modernising existing systems, delivering new solutions, and driving continuous technical improvements in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve internal and external web applications using PHP, Symfony, React, and MySQL.
• Lead and contribute to PHP/Symfony version upgrades, framework migrations, and modernization initiatives.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to meet business and operational needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Create and maintain unit tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Manage and optimise Docker‑based environments and support CI/CD improvements.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
• Participate in technical discussions, make architecture decisions, and take ownership of delivered solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of professional programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, Symfony, and MySQL.
• Experience with Symfony and PHP version migrations and framework upgrades.
• Solid JavaScript skills and proven experience building applications with React.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration principles.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerisation, and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code and to create unit tests.
