Java Developer – Fleet Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Java Developer to join ContiTrade’s Fleet Solutions platform. You will work on a business‑critical system that serves fleet customers and partner networks across EMEA, collaborating with developers, architects, product owners and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java‑based solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Support integrations with internal and external systems.
• Design scalable and maintainable software architectures together with the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues.
• Participate in testing, code reviews and quality‑assurance activities.
• Support operations, upgrades and continuous improvements.
• Contribute to incident, change and service management processes.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, international teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or BMC.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and an understanding of AI‑supported software engineering practices.
