Junior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Finance Tribe

About the role

Join the Finance Tribe at Danske Bank to help build SAFIRE, a new accounting system that delivers accurate financial information. As a Junior Cloud DevOps Engineer you will work alongside .NET developers, architects and analysts in a cross‑functional squad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and support new and existing SAFIRE applications.
• Collaborate with IT architects, developers, DevOps engineers and business analysts across the bank.
• Continuously learn and drive improvement for yourself and the team.
• Challenge and enhance existing processes and methodologies.
• Work with custom solutions built in Python.
• Design, build and maintain cloud‑native Infrastructure as Code on AWS.
• Leverage Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and alerting solutions.

Required profile

• Practical experience with public cloud computing, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools, ideally GitHub Actions and YAML.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and CloudWatch.
• Experience with containerised applications and Docker.
• Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a plus.
