Junior/Mid Maintenance Control Center Engineer

About the role

Heston Airlines is looking for a motivated Junior/Mid Maintenance Control Center Engineer to join its Maintenance Control Center in Vilnius. You will act as the bridge between maintenance providers, flight operations and logistics, ensuring the fleet remains compliant and operational.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with Part‑145 maintenance providers and oversee compliance with aviation regulations.
• Track defects and record maintenance status using the airline’s maintenance tracking system.
• Coordinate with the OCC/CD division to share status updates and respond to schedule changes.
• Monitor MEL and CDL usage to maintain flight safety and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate pilot‑reported discrepancies and develop recovery plans for AOG situations.
• Plan and coordinate non‑routine maintenance tasks in line with the flight schedule.
• Work with flight operations, maintenance, and procurement teams on fleet status and parts delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Part‑145 organization, airline MCC or CAMO (advantageous).
• Aeronautical or university aviation degree (advantageous).
• General knowledge of aviation safety standards and aircraft maintenance practices.
• Experience with A320 family aircraft (advantageous).
• Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts.
• Motivation, eagerness to learn and adapt.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
