Operations Controller

About the role

Metso is seeking an Operations Controller to join its Controlling Team in Vilnius. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory valuation, financial reporting and supporting key business decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Control and maintain inventory master data, valuation, scrapping, obsolescence provisions and WIP calculations.
• Execute month‑end closing activities, perform accounting analyses and validate financial transactions.
• Prepare profit & loss, balance‑sheet analyses, monthly reports, forecasts and financial projections.
• Monitor operational and financial KPIs, maintain internal controls and compliance processes.
• Provide risk assessments and financial guidance to stakeholders as a trusted business partner.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives, support audits and contribute to new tool development.
• Document processes, create knowledge‑base articles and maintain process maps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience in controlling or finance.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail‑orientation and high level of responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑cultural, collaborative environment.
