Securities Withholding Tax Professional

About the role

Join Danske Bank's Securities Withholding Tax team in Vilnius and support high‑quality Tax Reclaim and Relief at Source services for client investments. You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with a close‑knit group of ten professionals while handling routine operational tasks and expanding your knowledge across markets and client segments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a range of administrative and operational tasks related to tax reclaims and relief at source.
• Manage filing and follow‑up of Tax Reclaim procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain and update information in internal systems and execute control checks to identify and escalate errors.
• Provide clients with reports on open reclaims and communicate with retail, corporate, and institutional clients as well as advisors.
• Engage with Nordic and EU tax authorities to resolve documentation and reclaim‑related matters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process standardisation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in banking operations, preferably in withholding tax.
• Proven ability to manage complex processes and drive changes.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable handling routine tasks efficiently.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
