Senior AI Engineer

About the role

Exacaster is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions that have a measurable business impact. You will work within the Genesis team, architecting scalable AI systems based on large language models and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy end‑to‑end data pipelines and AI solutions built on generative models.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced knowledge bases using vector embeddings for performance and scalability.
• Optimize existing generative AI processes and models for efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and scalability.
• Produce clear technical documentation, guides, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
• Establish best practices for generative AI workflows and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in machine learning or data science, with at least 1 + year focused on generative AI.
• Proven track record of deploying large language models (e.g., GPT, Claude Sonnet) in production environments.
• Strong strategic mindset and ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain and Streamlit.
• Hands‑on work with LLMs (GPT, Claude Sonnet) and vector embeddings.
• RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
