Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes Platform Lead

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer reporting to the Senior Director of Software Engineering, you will shape and own the AWS and Kubernetes platform that supports a new R&D team focused on responsible AI for global financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD pipelines, establishing infrastructure-as-code as the standard.
• Own Kubernetes clusters end-to-end – Helm charts, networking, RBAC, ingress, security, and upgrades – ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Establish and evolve observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability practices across environments.
• Mentor DevOps and software engineers, contribute to solution design, and champion AI-assisted workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive adoption of AI-based tooling across products, services, and CI/CD pipelines, and take on Agile process roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure with production-level ownership on AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
• Proven ability to set technical direction, mentor engineers, and introduce AI-assisted workflows.
