Software Engineer – AI (Generative AI)

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in AI to design, build, and deploy generative‑AI solutions that help clients manage risk. You will work across the full stack, from Python back‑ends to modern front‑end frameworks, and deliver cloud‑native applications on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and applications, integrating Python services with React or Angular front‑ends.
• Design and implement enterprise‑grade Generative AI solutions, including LLM‑based chatbots and domain‑specific use cases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate UX/UI designs into functional interfaces.
• Write secure, reusable code, enforce best practices, and participate in code reviews.
• Deploy and maintain solutions on Azure, using Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Hands‑on experience building Agentic AI solutions with FastMCP, LangChain, Azure OpenAI API, and other LLMs.
• Experience with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations.
• University bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
