Software Engineer – C# and SQL Specialist

About the role

Moog is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join its D&D department in Vilnius. You will work on developing, testing and optimizing C# applications and complex SQL queries while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop C# code following best‑practice programming standards.
• Apply object‑oriented programming principles in all development tasks.
• Write, deploy, and optimise complex SQL queries.
• Test software, debug defects and evolve algorithms.
• Participate in software architecture design discussions.
• Create technical interfaces and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to solve production software issues.
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues in their daily tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing applications with C#.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming.
• Ability to design and optimise complex SQL queries.
• Experience working in a collaborative, on‑site team environment.
• Willingness to mentor junior engineers.
