Software Tester – Financing & Loans Tribe

About the role

Join the Private Lending team within the Financing & Loans Tribe at SEB, developing and delivering financial products across the Baltic countries. As a Software Tester you will ensure reliable lending solutions for customers across the Baltics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
• Translate business and technical requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Perform functionality, regression, integration, API, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery.
• Identify and document defects, collaborate with development teams to resolve issues, and improve overall test coverage and quality practices.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in test automation.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation, as well as Git or CI/CD environments.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Experience with Playwright or Selenium would be considered an advantage.
