Accounting RTR Analyst

About the role

Join Johnson Matthey, a global leader in platinum group metals, as an Accounting RTR Analyst. You will support month‑end and year‑end closing, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help optimise accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare related reports.
• Review balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigate variances and propose solutions.
• Validate journal entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Support the annual financial audit and ensure adherence to tax and financial regulations.
• Identify, review and improve accounting processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Experience in record‑to‑report or general accounting within a shared services or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and solid knowledge of ERP systems.
• Fluent English with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
