AI Integrations Engineer – Open Source & Web Search

About the role

We are looking for an engineer who gets SearchApi everywhere developers and AI agents already are. You will ship real integrations and pull requests into the open‑source ecosystem, contributing to the libraries, agent frameworks, and automation tools developers use daily.

Key responsibilities

• Ship merged PRs and improve SearchApi support in popular frameworks and repositories.
• Build integrations and MCP servers that make it trivial for developers or agents to pull search data.
• Write glue code, documentation, example apps, integration guides, and quickstarts.
• Stay current with the latest trends in the agent and automation space.
• Identify gaps where developers need search data and place SearchApi there first.
• Select high‑leverage integration targets without a predefined backlog.

Required profile

• Proven open‑source contributions with merged PRs in repositories you don’t own.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of the agent ecosystem and its recent changes.
• Fluent across the stack: comfortable with Ruby, Python, or TypeScript and at least one agent/automation framework.
• Strong writing skills for integration docs, PR descriptions, and examples.
• Self‑directed and able to choose what to build without constant guidance.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
