Browser / Kernel Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a browser engineer to patch Chromium and Firefox at the C++ source level, maintain our in‑house patched‑browser cloud and own the fingerprint surface that makes our automation indistinguishable from a real user.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve the in‑house patched‑browser cloud and per‑OS fingerprint profiles, continuously rebasing onto new stable Chromium.
• Patch the engine to fix navigator, WebGL, canvas, fonts, and Client Hints at the implementation level.
• Identify and eliminate CDP leaks and other signals that reveal automation.
• Ensure geolocation, timezone, and locale consistency across the browser stack.
• Develop testing harnesses to validate evasions and prevent regressions.

Required profile

• Strong C++ skills and experience reading/changing large, unfamiliar codebases.
• Hacker mindset with experience reverse‑engineering browser internals and fingerprinting.
• Persistence in troubleshooting detection issues and documenting changes.
• Excellent written English communication.

• Fingerprinting components: navigator, WebGL, canvas, audio, fonts, Client Hints
• Ruby, Node.js, Python for tooling
• AWS cloud environment
