Analytics Engineer – Finance Data Platform

About the role

Vinted Go is building a modern logistics and finance data platform to support millions of parcel shipments across Europe, the US and Australia. As an Analytics Engineer you will design, build and maintain the financial data models and pipelines that enable accurate cost controlling, invoicing reconciliation and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable data models in BigQuery and dbt that transform raw operational and carrier invoicing data into finance‑ready datasets.
• Implement automated data quality checks using dbt tests and monitor data pipelines for reliability.
• Collaborate with Financial Operations, Group Financial Reporting and fellow Analytics Engineers to understand reporting requirements and deliver trusted data for monthly closing and cost‑per‑parcel analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, pipeline ownership and contribute reusable dbt/Python packages to the Vinted Analytics Engineering Guild.
• Document data models, pipelines and quality controls to ensure auditability and transparency.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on finance‑oriented data engineering.
• Experience working with large‑scale data pipelines and financial datasets.
• Ability to collaborate across finance, logistics and engineering teams.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑growing environment.
