Assistant in Mechanical Department

About the role

MARS Lithuania offers a winter internship (February‑April) for students in their final year of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related fields. The position provides hands‑on experience with mechanical equipment analysis, fault diagnosis and optimisation of work processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis of mechanical installations and suggest optimisation measures.
• Identify common faults, carry out corrective and preventive maintenance, and propose technical improvements.
• Participate in innovation projects and international collaborations within the company.

Required profile

• Final‑year university or college student in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a similar discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking, quick learning ability and good English communication skills.
• Responsible, team‑oriented and eager to gain practical knowledge for the start of a career.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Analytical skills for equipment analysis and troubleshooting.
