Packaging Technician

About the role

Mars Lithuania, the largest pet food manufacturer in the Baltics, is looking for a responsible and curious Packaging Technician to join its R&D department in Gargzdai. The position is a one‑year fixed‑term contract offering the chance to work on global brands and innovative packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain packaging specifications according to Mars principles and standards, ensuring compliance.
• Assist in assessing and managing risks related to technical packaging changes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve non‑conformities, packaging issues, and quality incidents.
• Participate actively in knowledge exchange with European and central teams.

Required profile

• Higher education in food technology, material science, mechanics, or chemical engineering (students in final year are welcome).
• Strong proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
• Result‑oriented mindset with the ability to learn quickly.
• Teamwork and organizational skills.
