About the role

The Compensation Manager will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the bank's compensation strategy. You will ensure that salary structures are competitive, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own the compensation policy, principles and processes, shaping the overall remuneration strategy.
• Conduct market salary analyses, provide data for benchmarking studies and adjust salary ranges to maintain competitiveness.
• Manage the annual compensation review cycle and variable pay processes, creating and refining related procedures.
• Ensure all compensation data and processes meet regulatory compliance and transparency requirements.
• Represent compensation matters to the Board, Supervisory Board and Works Council.
• Partner with managers to communicate policies, foster competence in compensation topics and educate employees on the remuneration system.
• Perform HR data analysis, calculating key employee metrics and supporting broader HR analytics.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance analysis, HR management or organizational psychology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in compensation or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Clear communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
