About the role

Ignitis Renewables is looking for a dedicated operator to join the Remote Control Center team. You will be responsible for the technical management, real‑time monitoring and optimisation of renewable energy parks.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure high availability of renewable energy parks by monitoring equipment performance, handling signals and alarms, and initiating restoration actions.
• Coordinate technical and commercial park shutdowns and startups according to approved procedures, authorisations and safety requirements.
• Perform initial analysis of technical events, equipment faults or abnormal behaviour and relay information to responsible teams.
• Respond to warnings, incidents and extreme situations, leading first‑response actions while prioritising safety, asset protection and continuity.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, IT/OT, commercial, grid operators and other relevant teams to guarantee smooth operational management.
• Accurately record operational events, actions taken, escalations and shift hand‑overs to ensure traceability and quality.
• Operate strictly within defined procedures, safety, technical limits, access control and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Technical, engineering, energy or related education, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of electrical energy systems, renewable energy resources and their operational management principles.
• Strong analytical skills to quickly assess technical information, equipment signals or alarms and make decisions based on procedures.
• Attention to detail, responsibility and ability to document events and shift information precisely.
• Good communication skills in Lithuanian and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
