AX Software Engineer

About the role

As an AX Software Engineer at Girteka Group, you will help shape and improve the business‑critical applications that support our logistics operations across Europe. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from understanding business needs to delivering reliable, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineers, solution architects, business analysts and stakeholders to design effective software solutions.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum practices, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Develop secure, scalable, and well‑architected applications that meet business and user requirements.
• Take ownership of tasks, prioritize work effectively, and deliver solutions on schedule while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Follow and contribute to development standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
• Engage in code reviews, retrospectives, and share feedback to improve solution quality and team processes.
• Investigate technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement fixes and enhancements.
• Continuously learn new technologies and improve technical skills.

Required profile

• Proven software development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and .NET or similar technologies.
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable code.
• Solid SQL knowledge for data monitoring, issue investigation, and validation in a SQL Server environment.
• Basic familiarity with Jira for task management and Agile team collaboration.
• Experience with software architecture, solution design, and development best practices.
• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
• Capability to design secure, reliable, high‑quality software aligned with business requirements.
• Comfort contributing to technical documentation, code reviews, and development standards.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical tasks, and plan/prioritize work effectively.
• Willingness to mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and continuously develop skills.
