Biofuel Operator & Tractor Driver

About the role

Kauno Energija is seeking a motivated individual to join the biofuel handling team. The role combines biofuel receipt and sampling duties with tractor and telescopic loader operation, ensuring smooth plant operations on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Receive biofuel shipments, take samples and complete related documentation.
• Operate a telescopic loader to load biofuel cargo.
• Maintain cleanliness of indoor areas and the surrounding site.
• Participate in equipment start‑up, shutdown, switching and testing procedures.
• Follow a shift schedule that rotates every 12 hours.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (training can be provided).
• Computer literacy at an intermediate level (proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and basic database use).
• Responsible, independent, diligent and able to work well in a team.
• Valid tractor driver licence for categories TR1, TR2 and SM.
• Preferably holds a boiler‑operator qualification for medium‑capacity steam and water heating plants.
