About the role

Join the Gija team as an Accountant and contribute to the daily creation of the city’s energy ecosystem. You will handle primary bookkeeping, support financial reporting, and ensure compliance with tax and social security regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain primary accounting records based on source documents.
• Process and reconcile transactions for buyers, suppliers, and bank operations.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations and reports to the tax authority, social security institution, and other regulatory bodies.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities and compile information for audits.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting for purchases, sales, inventory, and fixed assets, including asset movement, depreciation, and inventory checks.
• Proven ability to complete tax declarations and statutory reports.
• Background in accounting for bank operations and performing reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Stekas or Navision is a plus.
