Chief Technology Officer (Digital Products)

About the role

Orbio World builds scalable systems and products used by millions of users worldwide. Its Digital Products team is looking for a CTO to own and shape its technology direction, with a clear focus on building and scaling high-performing digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the technology stack, systems and processes, and identify ways to simplify and improve efficiency
• Define and execute a technology roadmap aligned with long-term business goals and growth
• Make key architectural decisions for scalability, performance and long-term sustainability
• Build, lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering ownership and continuous improvement
• Improve development processes and workflows to increase delivery speed, quality and reliability
• Work closely with founders and leadership so technology drives business impact and customer value

Required profile

• Strong foundation in software engineering (back-end, front-end or full-stack)
• Proven experience building and scaling web and/or mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with system architecture, performance optimization, UX and scaling challenges
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and mentoring technical talent
• Experience working closely with C-level executives and founders, and contributing to strategic decisions
• Ability to connect technology decisions with business outcomes; experience in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments

Required skills

• Modern development practices: CI/CD, automated testing, version control, cloud infrastructure
• Nice to have: e-commerce, marketplace, tech startup or SaaS experience; in-house systems; practical experience with AI/ML in products or tools

What we offer

• Salary of 8,000 to 11,000 EUR gross per month, depending on experience
