DevOps Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

About the role

NRD Cyber Security is looking for a DevOps Engineer to automate the development, deployment and maintenance of its CyberSet platform. You will ensure reliable product performance in client environments and smooth delivery of new components.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with international clients to deploy updates, diagnose and resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD automation using GitLab pipelines for building, testing and publishing container images.
• Build and maintain Docker images for open‑source components and manage their delivery via the container registry.
• Automate deployment and upgrades with Terraform and Ansible across VMware and Proxmox virtualization.
• Deploy, upgrade and troubleshoot production installations at customer sites and monitor their availability and performance.
• Maintain the developer lab environment and advise developers on packaging, configuration and integration.
• Reproduce incidents, produce debug reports and coordinate delivery of fixes.
• Harden and document the platform, including secrets handling, access control and backup/recovery procedures.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong hands‑on Linux experience, including OS hardening, firewall management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Lithuanian.

Required skills

• Docker and container image creation.

• VMware vSphere/ESXi and Proxmox virtualization.
• HashiCorp Vault or SOPS for secrets management.
• Kubernetes or Docker Swarm orchestration.
• Monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus or Nagios.
• Windows technologies: PowerShell, Active Directory, GPO, Hyper‑V.
• Federated authentication protocols: SAML, OIDC.
