DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

Guru Pay, a Lithuania‑based financial services provider, is seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to own and evolve its shared infrastructure and delivery platform. You will work across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability to enable engineering teams to ship securely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform across all environments.
• Operate and improve Kubernetes clusters, databases, caches, messaging, networking, IAM and other shared services.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards, providing self‑service tooling for developers.
• Create reusable golden‑path templates and automation scripts.
• Manage platform monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards and alerting.
• Enhance reliability through SLOs, disaster‑recovery testing, capacity planning and incident follow‑up.
• Implement security controls including access management, secrets handling, vulnerability scanning and patching.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and lead infrastructure incident response.
• Track cloud usage, optimise costs and report delivery metrics.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Terraform, preferably on existing/brownfield environments.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience operating production systems that handle sensitive financial or personal data.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to automate tasks using Bash and Python or Go.
• Excellent communication skills in English and comfort presenting infrastructure concepts to developers.
