Experienced Platform Engineer (DevOps) – Build & Release

About the role

The Developer Experience tribe at Danske Bank is looking for a senior platform engineer to drive the design, implementation and maintenance of modern CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key part in the bank’s large‑scale cloud migration, ensuring developers have reliable, secure, and efficient tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design reusable GitHub workflows and centrally managed CI/CD pipelines for AWS deployments.
• Develop custom GitHub Actions using JavaScript and composite actions.
• Migrate existing Azure DevOps templates to GitHub‑based solutions.
• Build automation and self‑service capabilities for platform users.
• Manage and support EKS namespaces, clusters, and related infrastructure.
• Maintain GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Artifactory instances.
• Produce documentation and user guides for CI/CD tooling.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions on GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• Proven track record working with AWS public‑cloud services.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate across development and security teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on platform stability and security.
