Finance & Accounting Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Operations Specialist to join CUBE AI’s fast‑growing finance team. Working remotely from Lithuania, you will partner directly with the CRO and CFO to ensure the accuracy of payroll, vendor payments, client invoicing and overall financial operations as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Validate payroll calculations, bonuses, deductions and leaves, and reconcile results against the budget.
• Control and approve vendor payments by verifying invoices, obtaining internal approvals and processing payments.
• Manage client invoicing, ensure accurate billing, process payments and reconcile to revenue.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and report findings to leadership.
• Perform budget reconciliation, analyse variances and prepare leadership reports.
• Generate monthly financial reports covering payroll costs, vendor spend, cash position and budget variance.
• Coordinate with external partners such as accounting firms, payroll providers and banks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, or related finance operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work accurately under uncertainty.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with senior leadership.
• High drive and passion for the mission of combating AI‑powered crime.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or equivalent spreadsheet proficiency.
• Experience with payroll and accounting software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, Xero).
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation and budgeting processes.
