Financial Accountant (Hybrid) – Vilnius

About the role

Baltic Assist is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its hybrid team in Vilnius. You will manage the full accounting cycle, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support client requests while collaborating with junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Execute primary accounting operations, including purchase/sale accounts, bank transactions, payments and payroll.
• Collect, analyse and record financial and administrative data to guarantee completeness and timeliness.
• Validate balance‑sheet and profit‑and‑loss items, perform reconciliations, and prepare interim and annual reports under local GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare VAT, tax and other management reports.
• Assist external auditors, tax inspectors and legal advisors during audits.
• Communicate with clients on accounting matters and share best practices with less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent teamwork and independent decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
