About the role

Artea Bank is seeking a motivated and responsible Director of the Financial Markets Department. The role involves leading a team, making joint decisions, and driving the bank’s market position while fostering a culture of trust and openness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the department and team to achieve sustainable financial results, efficient capital use, high client service quality, and balanced risk‑return.
• Develop and strengthen the bank’s financial markets activities, creating value‑generating solutions and expanding business volume.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, internal policy and risk‑management requirements, coordinating with control functions and supervisory authorities.
• Represent the bank with clients, investors, market participants, partners and regulators, building long‑term relationships and enhancing reputation.
• Initiate and implement transformation of processes, products and technology to improve efficiency, innovation and sustainable growth.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, investment management, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial markets, investment banking, asset management or a related area.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing a team.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment products, capital markets, currencies and interest‑rate products.
• Strategic thinking, business development and change‑management competence.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with clients, investors and regulators.
• Valid financial broker or BFAA license.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); CFA qualification is a plus.
