Accounting Team Lead

About the role

You will be the backbone of the finance function, leading the Accounting team through month‑end closing, audits and financial statement preparation while supporting cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support team members in daily, monthly and quarterly accounting tasks.
• Improve accounting workflows and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure monthly and annual financial results accurately reflect business operations.
• Prepare financial statements, support the team throughout the process and liaise with external auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Experience in a Senior or Chief Accountant role with team leadership responsibilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize, adapt and consistently meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Preparation of financial statements under Lithuanian GAAP (VAS) and IFRS.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (nice to have).
