FinCrime Escalations Officer (French & English)

About the role

Revolut’s Compliance team is looking for a FinCrime Escalations Officer who will act as the escalation point for suspicious activity reports (SARs) across its European branches. The role combines regulatory expertise with data‑driven analysis to ensure timely, accurate reporting and effective response to regulatory inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for suspicious activity cases and ensure SARs meet local requirements.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries and requests from authorities related to SARs.
• Manage queries that require second‑line review and work closely with the MLRO on significant cases.
• Monitor emerging patterns, detect rare or new trends, and report findings.
• Resolve escalated cases within defined resolution times.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and support training initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a compliance or FinCrime officer in a major financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations.
• Experience acting as an escalation point in FinCrime operations.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
