FinCrime Team Lead (External Enquiries)

About the role

Revolut’s Financial Crime Operations team protects customers and their money by detecting and preventing financial crime. As the FinCrime Team Lead for External Enquiries, you will oversee a group of analysts who handle customer and agent issues, ensuring high‑quality performance and rapid resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of External Enquiry Analysts, setting goals and monitoring performance.
• Communicate company objectives, safety practices, and deadlines to the team.
• Motivate team members, assess performance, and provide feedback.
• Assist senior management with hiring, training, and reporting on team metrics.
• Facilitate communication of policies and concerns between management and the team.
• Identify and implement process and procedure optimisations.
• Ensure the team meets internal Service Level Agreements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external escalations.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• 1+ years of experience managing a team of at least five full‑time employees.
• Relevant experience in AML, compliance, or card disputes.
• Familiarity with AML and sanctions regulations such as JMLSG, OFAC, POCA, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong judgment and understanding of legal and business risk interplay.
• Effective communication with internal teams, external counsel, and regulators.
