Forwarding Manager – International Vehicle Transport

About the role

MANVESTA, a transport company with its own fleet operating in the Western European market, is looking for a focused and proactive Forwarding Manager to lead international vehicle transportation orders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate international vehicle transportation orders.
• Search for suitable carriers, select them and negotiate transportation conditions and rates.
• Monitor shipments to ensure loads are collected and delivered on time.
• Resolve operational issues, delays and unexpected situations.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing transport partners.
• Co‑operate with other departments to ensure smooth transport operations.
• Follow current market situation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a freight forwarding or transport manager.
• Good understanding of road transport and freight forwarding processes.
• Ability to coordinate shipments and manage several orders simultaneously.
• Good English language skills (B1 level or higher), written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, make quick decisions and handle stressful situations.
• Team‑player attitude.
