French Speaking AML Compliance Specialist (Consumer Monitoring & Investigation)

About the role

Join Western Union’s Consumer Monitoring and Investigation (CMI) team as a French‑speaking AML Compliance Specialist. You will analyze transaction data, detect suspicious activity, and support regulatory reporting to protect the network from money‑laundering risks.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze Western Union data to identify potentially suspicious activity.
• Report and document suspicious activity in line with AML policies.
• Conduct investigations into consumer transactions and provide actionable feedback for process improvement.
• Prepare regulatory reports as required by law and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with the AML Compliance team to ensure all compliance requirements are met.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Higher education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication, time‑management and teamwork abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• General computer literacy and ability to use research tools and AML monitoring systems.
