HR & Payroll Business Consultant

About the role

Digmatix is seeking an HR & Payroll Business Consultant to guide clients through the full lifecycle of HR and payroll system implementations. The role focuses on understanding business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions without requiring deep technical development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing HR and payroll processes and recommend optimisation strategies.
• Gather business requirements from clients and translate them into functional system designs.
• Configure and customise HR & Payroll solutions to meet client specifications.
• Test system functionalities and validate that business processes work as intended.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge‑transfer activities for end users.
• Provide ongoing advisory support and build long‑term client relationships.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Prepare functional documentation and support project delivery activities.

Required profile

• Experience in payroll, HR administration, compensation & benefits, accounting, finance, BPO, shared services or business consulting.
• Practical knowledge of payroll processes and relevant labour‑law regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Proven experience working directly with clients, stakeholders or internal business users.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP, HR or payroll management systems.
