About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Junior Biotechnologist to join its buffer and solution manufacturing team in Vilnius. You will work in a cleanroom environment, following strict protocols to produce high‑quality biotechnological reagents used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare workstations and weigh, dissolve, mix, and titrate chemicals according to approved procedures.
• Perform sterile filtration and fill products into designated containers, ensuring proper labeling.
• Measure core product attributes such as pH, electrical conductivity, and solution density.
• Coordinate sample collection and hand‑over to quality‑control analysts.
• Maintain production documentation and update electronic inventory systems.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs.
• Learn new manufacturing methods and contribute ideas for process improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering, biology or related natural science.
• Basic laboratory skills acquired through studies, internships or projects.
• Attention to detail, responsibility and willingness to follow clear procedures.
• Basic English for reading technical documents.
