Junior Category Manager

About the role

The Junior Category Manager will join Bolt’s Market team to support the product assortment strategy. You will be responsible for sourcing the right quantities at the best price while enhancing the consumer experience, driving revenue growth and strengthening supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and store visits to analyse consumer trends and pricing opportunities.
• Assist in creating joint business plans with key CPG partners and track growth targets.
• Support performance reviews of products and suppliers, providing data‑driven insights to improve sales and profitability.
• Negotiate terms with regular and ad‑hoc suppliers, managing contracts, payment terms, rebates, margins and promotional support.
• Prepare commercial analyses and deep‑dives, presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Execute promotional strategies, monitor campaign performance and collaborate with commercial, marketing and operations teams.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with partnerships, marketing and operations teams.
• Interest in consumer goods, retail and e‑commerce environments.
• Motivation to learn quickly in a fast‑paced, data‑driven setting.
