Junior Chemist – Nucleotide Production

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Chemist to join our large‑scale nucleotide production team. The role involves synthesising, purifying and formulating nucleotides, modified nucleotides and related products while working in a cleanroom environment and handling hazardous materials safely.

Key responsibilities

• Produce nucleotides, modified nucleotides and other group products according to current technical documentation.
• Perform synthesis, purification and formulation of reagents.
• Maintain, store and charge chromatographic columns used in production processes.
• Prepare commercial and intermediate products, and, when required, hand them over to the product packaging department.
• Monitor inventory of reagents, solutions and consumables in the warehouse and laboratory, initiating orders as needed.
• Supervise equipment, record malfunctions and order spare parts.
• Accurately complete production protocols, equipment logs and other documentation, entering data into the relevant systems.

Required profile

• University degree in chemistry or a related natural science.
• Understanding of chemical principles and basic laboratory techniques.
• Proficiency in English.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office.
