Lead Graphic Designer – Product Squad

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to set the creative bar for the NordVPN product squad while supporting the broader Nord Security brand. The role blends hands‑on design (about 70%) with leadership (about 30%), allowing you to execute high‑impact visual work and mentor the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain visual quality across web surfaces, mobile marketing, in‑app assets, and video content for NordVPN.
• Coach and critique designers, establishing clear benchmarks for high‑craft digital and motion deliverables.
• Collaborate with the Brand Design Lead to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
• Translate marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives for web, app stores, and video formats.
• Build production pipelines, including file systems, Figma tooling, and handoff patterns for developers.
• Integrate generative AI tools ethically to accelerate asset creation and iteration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in marketing design, branding, or creative agencies.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring designers, formally or informally.
• Strong visual design and art‑direction skills with a portfolio showing refined craft and conceptual depth.
• Ability to balance brand consistency with performance‑driven outcomes.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
