Linux System Administrator – Infrastructure Team

About the role

Hostinger is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join its Infrastructure team in Lithuania. You will help build, monitor, maintain, automate, and support a global hosting infrastructure that serves millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts across servers, network, DNS, and storage.
• Triaging incidents to identify hardware, network, or stack issues and resolve or hand‑off appropriately.
• Execute remote hardware procedures with data‑center technicians worldwide.
• Fine‑tune alerting systems to reduce noise and improve reliability.
• Coordinate shift handovers with the Infrastructure Monitoring team in Indonesia.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with the Linux command line (SSH, log analysis, basic troubleshooting).
• Hands‑on experience with personal lab setups (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Proxmox, self‑hosted services).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and DNS.
• Calm under pressure, proactive in asking questions, and diligent in documentation.
• Proficient English for daily written and spoken communication.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts after the probation period.
