Linux System Administrator – Infrastructure Team (Lithuania)

About the role

Hostinger is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join its Infrastructure team in Lithuania. You will help build, monitor, automate and support a global hosting infrastructure that serves millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, network, DNS and storage across a large hosting environment.
• Triaging alerts, identifying hardware, network or stack issues and resolving or escalating them.
• Execute remote hardware procedures with data‑center technicians worldwide.
• Fine‑tune alerting to reduce noise and document recurring incidents.
• Coordinate shift handovers with the Infrastructure Monitoring team in Indonesia to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Required profile

• Comfortable working in the Linux command line (SSH, log files, basic troubleshooting).
• Hands‑on hobby projects (e.g., home lab, Raspberry Pi, self‑hosted services) that show a willingness to break and fix things.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and DNS.
• Calm under pressure, asks questions instead of guessing, and documents work for the next shift.
• Proficient English for daily written and spoken communication.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts after the probation period.
