Mid/Senior Data Engineer (Risk and Finance Reporting)

About the role

Join Luminor's Risk and Finance Reporting unit as a Data Engineer. You will help build the data foundation for risk and finance reporting, integrating data across systems and supporting regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve data ingestion, processing, storage and sharing systems.
• Build and optimise scalable, reliable data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure seamless integration and synchronisation across multiple banking systems.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, security, availability and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues and implement monitoring and alerting for data workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the financial sector.
• Proven expertise with SQL and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Flink) and data‑pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt).
• Experience with data‑warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
